AWP curates the Underground Lecture Series, Carleton University, Paris DSA

In parallel with a Design Studio, theory seminars  investigate the potential of the late 60’s and 70’s underground architecture and urbanity, as a laboratory for renewed relationships to the constructed surface of modern cities and more broadly the notions of underground/undercover/unveiled both physically and metaphorically. A series of presentations and debates with leading international architects, curators, researchers and critics  including a wide range of themes dealing with the notions of underground and invisible as juxtaposed to iconic and «easy to grasp» program 19th sept. 2012 La Défense 1950 – 2012.
